Raytheon Field Engineering is currently seeking a Manager, Field Services, in Portsmouth, RI in support of the NATO Seasparrow Program. Duties would include coordinating all electrical and mechanical activities required to support the Naval Shipboard Combat System.

This role will be onsite in Portsmouth, RI.

What You Will Do

Support all the Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) for the NATO Seasparrow equipment used for US Fleet support, Software development, Production support and the new product development. Role will support and maintain (repair, preventative maintenance, upgrade systems and new development) of the evolved Seasparrow Missile (ESSM) and associated Vertical Launch Systems (VLS).

Other Duties associated with the Land Base Test Site (LBTS) at the RTX Portsmouth facility, may include the following:

  • Maintaining Calibration of Test Equipment used by NATO Seasparrow.
  • Shipping documentation and receiving material in and out of the LBTS.
  • GFE inventory with the property control personnel.
  • Quality Audits.
  • Interface with Facilities, Security, Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) & Leadership.
  • Scheduling & contracting outside crane work & site work.
  • Coordination with Facilities regarding infrastructure work at the LBTS (electrical, plumbing & site work).
  • Travel CONUS/OCONUS, approximately 20%.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM preferred) and a minimum of 6 years of prior engineering experience. May use experience in lieu of education.
  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
  • Experience with Naval Shipboard Combat Systems and Radars. Preferably MK57 NATO Seasparrow Surface Missile System or MK99 AEGIS.

Qualifications We Prefer

  • B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, related science degree, or US Navy E4 through E9.
  • Experience in maintenance and troubleshooting of US Navy Combat Systems and Radars.
  • Must be a self-starter with the ability to align priorities appropriately.

The salary range for this role is 101,000 USD - 203,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
