GENERAL SUMMARY

Responsible for driving to, receiving and sorting donations from our community partners, returning them in their entirety to the Food Assistance Program, and overseeing their processing and storage. Aid the Donation Coordinator with extra runs, receiving donations from our community partners when necessary. This position collaborates with the different programs across St. Matthew's House. This position is great for someone looking to stay physically active. 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Obey all policies of St. Matthew's House transportation as well as all traffic laws of Collier County
• Daily interaction with donors in a corporate setting, reflecting the core values of St. Matthew's House.
• Daily maintenance and cleaning of transportation vehicles.
• Ongoing updating of the Master Transportation Schedule
• Deliver organizing of donated products, and their transfer to other St. Matthew's House properties or sister organizations.
• Aid in the Food Pantry and Community Distributions with supplies or runs to storage as needed.
• Other transportation related tasks as deemed necessary by Food Assistance Program.
• Must have valid driver's license, carry up-to-date insurance coverage, and have the ability to pass SMH driver history benchmarks.

Requirements

Education: High school diploma or equivalent. 

Experience: Valid Florida Driver's License

Mental/Visual Demands: Flow of work requires normal mental and visual capabilities.

Working Conditions: Ability to sit for extended periods of time and lift 50 lbs.
