We are an innovative team of full-stack engineers responsible for mission-critical services, systems and interfaces that are solid, and performant with observability baked-in for good measure. If you have a passion for building for UX and accessibility, you’re in good company.</p> <p>This position is ideal for someone with 5+ years of professional experience in React and TypeScript. Previous cloud experience, particularly with serverless architecture, is preferred. The successful candidate will have a passion for technology, a willingness to embrace new challenges, and a desire to contribute to company growth.</p> <p><strong>In this job, you’ll…</strong></p> <ul> <li>Hands-on development with the Portal and Consumer-facing website code (React) and other areas of the codebase, ensuring high-quality solutions.</li> <li>Understand customer needs and problems to ensure focus on the right priorities.</li> <li>Implementing both automated and manual tests to ensure production-ready code.</li> <li>Engage in continuous learning to enhance technical and soft skills.</li> <li>Mentor other engineers, participating in pair/mob programming, and conducting code reviews.</li> <li>Advocate for and implement automation and observability.</li> <li>Promote front-end development best practices, and identify opportunities for improvements in accessibility, user experience, and search engine optimization.</li> <li>Contributing to ongoing improvements of the new asset management service.</li> </ul> <p><strong>We’re looking for…</strong></p> <ul> <li><strong>Experience:</strong> 5+ years of development experience.</li> <li><strong>Mandatory Technologies:</strong> React, Node.js, and TypeScript.</li> <li><strong>Advantageous Technologies:</strong> Domain-Driven Design (DDD), Event-Driven Architectures (EDA), SST, and CDK.</li> <li><strong>Full-Stack Capability:</strong> Ability and eagerness to work across the full stack, owning a vertical slice of the product.</li> <li><strong>Cloud Experience:</strong> Experience with AWS or Azure, preferably using a serverless framework like AWS Lambda.</li> <li><strong>Learning Agility:</strong> Ability to quickly adapt and learn new skills and knowledge, and leverage those learnings in a face-paced environment</li> <li><strong>Communication &amp; Collaboration:</strong> Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to build trust across teams and clearly explain technical concepts.</li> <li><strong>Mentorship:</strong> Experience mentoring engineers and fostering a strong engineering culture.</li> <li><strong>Problem-Solving:</strong> Proactive problem-solver who thrives in ambiguity and can simplify complexity into pragmatic, scalable solutions.</li> <li><strong>Promoting AI tools and capabilities:</strong> Hands-on experience using AI tools, and supporting your team in exploring, prototyping, and safely integrating AI into their workflows.</li> </ul> <h3><strong>What you get</strong></h3> <p>We’re a growing startup and we understand that amazing incentives will attract amazing talent.
