ABOUT THE ROLE:

We’re looking for a Director, Business Development & Strategy to join our commercial team. In this role, you’ll lead the identification, evaluation, and execution of strategic growth opportunities, including partnerships, licensing, M&A, and new market expansion. You will work cross-functionally with executive leadership, marketing, clinical, regulatory, and R&D teams to shape and drive the company’s long-term strategic direction and accelerate revenue growth. 

Responsibilities

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

 

• Lead the company’s annual and long-range strategic planning process, partnering with executive leadership to establish enterprise priorities, align cross-functional objectives, and translate strategic goals into actionable plans that drive execution and sustainable growth. 

• Identify, evaluate, and execute growth opportunities that expand Endologix’s leadership in abdominal aortic aneurysm (AAA) and peripheral vascular disease, including partnerships, licensing, and acquisitions in minimally invasive, endovascular technologies that meaningfully improve patient outcomes. 

• Shape and evolve corporate and commercial strategy by translating physician insights, market dynamics, and emerging clinical needs into clear, actionable plans that drive sustainable growth. 

• Partner closely with vascular surgeons, interventionalists, and key opinion leaders to uncover unmet needs, ensuring strategic decisions are grounded in real-world clinical practice and patient impact. 

• Lead rigorous market assessments, competitive intelligence, and financial modeling, balancing data-driven discipline with thoughtful judgment to inform high-quality decision-making. 

• Drive end-to-end due diligence with a strong emphasis on transparency, accountability, and cross-functional collaboration across legal, clinical, regulatory, and finance teams. 

• Develop business cases that integrate clinical outcomes data, reimbursement considerations, and adoption pathways, ensuring opportunities are both commercially viable and clinically meaningful. 

• Collaborate with product management, R&D, and commercial teams to advance differentiated solutions, supporting portfolio expansion, lifecycle optimization, and global market development. 

• Support executive leadership with long-range planning, strategic initiatives, and board-level communications that clearly articulate opportunities, risks, and value creation pathways. 

• Stay ahead of industry trends, technological advancements, and competitive shifts within vascular and endovascular therapies, bringing forward bold ideas and informed perspectives.
