Position Summary

Data Engineer will work closely with a multidisciplinary Agile team to build high-quality data pipelines that drive optimized and scalable cloud-based solutions for DBA. This holistic ecosystem, under the care and iterative maintenance of the Senior DE, will generate critical insights from streams of logically and operationally interconnected data, thereby enabling DBA and its stakeholders to leverage a multitude of data-driven capabilities.

This role requires a good understanding of data architecture, cloud engineering, data engineering, data analysis, data quality, and a basic understanding of data science techniques and workflows. The ideal candidate is a skilled data or software engineer with experience creating robust, “ready to consume” data products. The ideal candidate also has previous experience working within an Agile team and its different subdisciplines; is curious and hungry to explore new tools; works with extreme independence; provides accountability for their work products; openly gives their knowledge back to their peers in the DE Chapter; and most importantly, embodies the Culture, Care, and Collaboration that are the foundational concepts of DBA.

  • Develop, optimize, and maintain data architecture and pipelines that adhere to rigorous industry standards and DE-centric best practices
