Senior Manager, Accounting

THE ROLE

This position will work directly with the Controller to develop and maintain accounting principles, practices and procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial statements.

Job Description:

• Assist in monthly / quarterly financial books closure.
• Own specific areas during the close process
• Liaise with the business owners for the inputs related to the accounting
• Assist in maintaining the internal control environment related to the financial reporting
• Assist in reviewing the financial statements footnotes
• Addresses tight deadlines and a multitude of accounting activities general ledger analysis, financial reporting, year-end audit preparation and
• Support of budget and forecast activities
• Help controllers in analyzing complex accounting issues involved in the various deals
• Assist management in additional ad hoc analysis or reporting as needed

Requirements:

• Bachelors or Masters in Accounting / Finance
• CPA or pursuing CPA (Preferred)
• Big 4 experience preferred
• 4-6 years of experience in corporate finance or an accounting role
• Advanced Excel knowledge
• Detail oriented and have a “Hands-On” work attitude
• Able to work with minimum supervision
• Experience working with accounting or financial reporting tool (NetSuite preferred)

COMPENSATION RANGE 

The compensation range for this role is $130,000 - $160,000, depending on location and experience.
