About the role
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Creates, manages, and distributes the department Implementation Schedule outlining all major customer milestone dates, on-site trips, resource assignments, and personnel capacity
- Provides support to Project Managers with the use of Microsoft Project for the Web. Updates Project templates for new business, upgrades, and team checklists as needed.
- Communicates internally with Directors, Managers, Team Leads, and team members across McLeod’s Core Services departments to provide updates, evaluate resource capacity, anticipate risks, and ensure deliverables are completed on time.
- Lead all aspects of integration module delivery, including external communication with vendors and customers, credential gathering, resource allocation, and scheduling of module installations and trainings.
- Works closely with the Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) team to allocate resources and assignments for sales orders and new business implementation projects.
- Creates special project timelines and deliverables and manages as needed from inception to close.
- Interfaces internally and externally to get special projects completed.
- Monitors and communicates risks and successes about module scheduling and delivery.
- Works to ensure appropriate internal staff are involved in escalated service and delivery issues.
- Prioritizes projects and ensures consistency and documentation.
- Manages module delivery for projects in conjunction with the Project Managers.
- Plans and optimizes available McLeod resources for module delivery.
- Creates and distributes client deliverables, including but not limited to timelines, responsibilities, and other client-facing items.
- Assures all items in in-house ERP system are up to date. This may include creating work orders for customers and monitoring issues.
- Records time expenditures accurately for billing to the customer
What you'll need to be considered (requirements):
- Bachelor's degree or a minimum of 2 years providing customer-facing support.
- A working knowledge of McLeod software and/or transportation software, preferred.
- Excellent computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office Suite applications, especially Microsoft Project, are strongly preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly organized.
- Ability to multitask.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Ability to manage projects simultaneously
- Ability to communicate complex concepts to a broad range of customer end-users (professionals and non-professionals).
