Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems is seeking a Summer 2026 Systems Engineering I&T Intern, focusing on Test Planning, Execution, and Reporting. In this role, you will test Software and/or Hardware products within the IWSS Launchers product line, support Test Readiness Reviews (TRRs) and customer witnessed testing. The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of technical problem solving skills, the ability to see the big picture, the ability to conceptualize, develop and implement solutions, and the ability to partner well with internal and external organizations.
Must be a US Citizen.; This position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Basic Qualifications
- Pursuing a Bachelor of Science or Master of Science in Systems Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Math or related technical experience is required from an accredited University.
- Basic Knowledge of Systems Engineering, Systems Integration and Test; Test Planning, Test Development.
- Must be a US Citizen.; This position will require a government security clearance.; This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Desired skills
- Familiarity with the systems development lifecycle.
- Experience working within an integrated team environment.
- Possess excellent communication skills and be able to work with minimal day to day supervision.
- Be well organized, take direction well, and be a self-starter willing to seek assignments and guidance.
- Have strong analytical and problem solving skills and demonstrated ability to comprehend and work successfully with complex systems.
