Position Information 

The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) is seeking a strategic, accomplished operations leader to help shape the future of our Communications Division. This high-impact role will lead complex business operations, directing budget and forecasting activities, financial analysis, contract administration, resource management, and fiscal oversight. Working across the division, you will ensure operational readiness, optimize resources, and drive efficient, accountable use of public funds in support of TxDOT's mission.

As a trusted leader and advisor, you'll play a critical role in establishing robust division policies, goals, and objectives while supporting cross-section and interdepartmental collaboration. The ideal candidate is an independent professional who can successfully lead multiple initiatives, align projects with agency priorities and policies, and build strong partnerships across the organization. You'll be an exceptional communicator, capable of delivering operational insights, managing complex cross-divisional relationships, and influencing high-level stakeholders.

This position is based in the historic Greer Building on 11th Street in downtown Austin, offering a unique opportunity to work just steps from the Texas State Capitol in the heart of state government.

 

 


 

 

Minimum Salary

: 93,000.00  

Maximum Salary

: 156,000.00  
 
 

Pay Basis

: Yearly  FLSA Status: Exempt
