HP Anyware invented the PCoIP remote display protocol and developed Engineering Emmy-Award-winning Anyware products to deliver the best virtual and remote desktop experience in the world.
Our exciting growth and continuing success mean that we are looking for an energetic co-op student (Engineering or Computer Science) to join our Software Development team. This is an exciting opportunity to participate in the development and testing of HP Anyware's software components for our HP Anyware family of products and to assist in modernizing our development and build environment. You will be joining a team that is building a microservices application running as a SaaS solution. As a Software Developer, you will be part of the development team in building a quality product and designing automated tests that will become part of the CI/CD pipeline of the product and enable high iterations and frequent releases with confidence.
Responsibilities:
Development of software components related to Microservices-based solution
Building scalable, cost-effective test automation with a focus on product-level integration tests and end-to-end test
Contribute to integrating automated testing into the CI/CD pipeline
Contribute to software release testing
Adapt to TDD (test driven development) process
Be an active member of a Scrum team and learn about agile software development and testing
Testing of developed components within a virtual desktop infrastructure
Software development in Nodejs and Go
Software development for test automation in Python and Terraform
Requirements:
Students who have completed at least 2 academic years.
Students who love to program software (ideally before they join university) and have an interest in software services.
Students who have experience with cloud environments, such as Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud Platform.
Individuals who work well with others, think outside the box and see raising the bar as part of the daily routine.
Other Information:
Preference will be given to Co-op Students currently enrolled in an Undergraduate program.

The typical base pay range for this co-op role is $3,700 to 5,000 per month. Pay within this range will be based on the review of experience, skills and internal equity.
