Radiology Assistant - Part-time

Position Highlights:

Nebraska Medicine is now taking applications for a talented individual to join us as a Radiology Assistant. This role will be great for someone that has a passion for radiology and great customer service for our patients we serve.

Shift Details: 

  • Location: Bellevue Medical Center

  • Part-time / First shift

  • Sat-Sun / 10:00 AM - 6:30 PM

Radiology Assistant Description- Full-time:
Provide patient care and departmental clinical duties to facilitate excellent service to the patients, referring physicians, radiologists, and staff technologists.

Required Qualifications:

  • High school education or equivalent required.

  • Organizational skills required.

  • Strong people and communication skills required.

  • Effective phone communication required.

  • Proficient knowledge of the use of patient care equipment/supplies required.

  • Ability to multitask required.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior working experience with customers or patients preferred.

  • Prior experience in a hospital setting preferred.

  • Proficient knowledge of computers preferred.

  • Ability to handle stressful situations preferred.

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification upon completion of unit orientation preferred, must be from an American Heart Association (AHA) endorsed program (effective for new hires starting January 1, 2023 or later).

  • CNA or equivalent experience preferred.
