In this compelling leadership position, you will plan and direct the work of a unit whose team design and implement components of technological structures, create solutions with a process-driven view, and maintain and/or update existing structures. In this role, you will coordinate business unit operational activities through the support of your team.

The Enterprise Architecture - Architecture - Senior Director role will offer you the flexibility to make each day your own, while working alongside people who care so that you can deliver on the following responsibilities:
- Determine diverse and complex customer group needs by applying understanding of important strategic issues to the function/initiative.
- Plan and direct the work of multiple teams in translating functional requirements into technical solutions to meet needs.
- Oversee existing structures, as well as the implementation and ongoing monitoring of governance for their use according to requirements.
- Direct modeling, analysis, and planning to drive functional strategy execution or define the approach toward complex or unusual business problems. Expert understanding of Modern Architectures with Cloud Architectures and Infrastructures
- Work with business & product stakeholders to define business architecture & strategy for execution
- Define tech infrastructure and stack for app/dev teams
Qualifications
THE EXPERIENCE YOU BRING TO THE TEAM
- Deep expertise in Capital Markets or Finance/Treasury domains, or previous experience in financial services and/or secondary mortgage market
- Accountable for proactively leading and supporting Enterprise Architecture activities that build our future technology architecture within the aligned business unit(s)
- Define the principles, guidelines, standards, and solution patterns to ensure solution decisions are aligned with the enterprise's future-state architecture vision.
- Work closely with business portfolios, Infrastructure, and Data functions to ensure alignment of expectations and drive execution.
- Delivers innovative architectural initiatives that drive revenue, increase competitiveness, and improve efficiency in line with business strategy
- Knowledge of and experience in application architectural frameworks, blueprints, patterns and prescriptive architectures and applying these to enterprise class architectures
- Ability to compare and contrast alternative architectures and is able to provide evidence for a fact-based decision on the best direction for the engineering systems roadmap taking account of the corporate strategy & enterprise architectural roadmaps
- Brings an entrepreneurial spirit and is hands-on
- Experience in strong technical knowledge and experience in areas such as cloud computing, data analytics, AI/ML and network infrastructure.
- Should be able to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including executives, business leaders, and other members of the organization.
- Ensure in person employee engagement by motivating team, running personalized development programs, and creating an empowering culture aligned with our values
- Skilled in cloud technologies and cloud computing and experience with performing large scale data migrations to cloud using cloud native services
- Overall accountability of the IT Architecture capability ensuring that the company has the optimal level of Architecture capability and talent, driving upskilling, cross-skilling and overall development of talent keeping them relevant and aligned with Technology evolution of our technology stack and infrastructure
Preferred skills
• Knowledge of Mortgage industry business process
• 4+ years of Cloud Architecture experience preferred
• Excellent presentation and communication skills
