Description

• Preparing patients for dental work.
• Helping with infection control by sterilizing and disinfecting instruments, setting up instrument trays, preparing materials, and assisting with dental procedures.
• Assisting dentists in managing medical and dental emergencies when necessary.
• Assisting Dentist with procedures when necessary.
• Providing great patient care.
• Recording treatment information in patient records.
• Taking dental xrays
• Giving patients information on dental hygiene  and oral health care, 
• Collecting and recording medical and dental histories.
• Providing postoperative instructions as directed by the dentist.
• Caring for dental equipment.
• Impressions
• Ordering dental supplies and maintaining dental equipment inventory.
•  Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• dental assisting experience is preferred but will train the right person.
• be self-motivated, organized, and have a positive attitude
• understanding of dental terminology
• have excellent communication and written skills
• excellent patient care
• work well with patients and team
• be experienced in delivering high-level customer service
• committed to the position arriving on time daily.
