GENERAL OBJECTIVES:
The Sponsorship and Events Marketing Lead at Firstrust Bank is responsible for managing the development and supervision of the bank’s sponsorship portfolio, as well as overseeing all business development events. This role is responsible for evaluating opportunities, shaping strategy, and ensuring that all partnerships and events create meaningful brand and relationship value aligned with Firstrust’s mission and community commitments.
The position will also support the execution of Eagles gameday activations, ticketing and related events and deliverables, while overseeing broader business development event planning, hospitality programming, and sponsorship budgeting and payments.
The role works closely with internal stakeholders across the bank and external partners, including agency partners.
RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:
Sponsorship management
• Lead the overall sponsorship strategy and recommend opportunities aligned with brand, community engagement and business development goals
• Evaluate sponsorship performance, community impact, and relationship value
• Serve as the primary contact for sponsorship inquiries and external partnership discussions
• Develop sponsorship toolkits and internal guidance for bank teams to leverage assets
• Manage sponsorship budgets, tracking, fiscal management, and payment coordination
Business Development Events & Hospitality
• Plan and manage Firstrust business development events, client hospitality experiences, and sponsorship-related engagements
• Oversee logistics from concept to execution: timelines, vendor coordination, signage, invitations, RSVPs, premium gifting, hospitality, and post-event recaps
• Collaborate across departments (Commercial & Business Banking, Real Estate, Retail, Marketing, Communications, Digital) to ensure sponsorship assets are used to deepen relationships and support growth
Eagles Partnership
• Support game day and Eagles event execution logistics (credentialing, activations, hospitality, signage, fan/guest experiences, ticketing, etc.)
• Coordinate with external Eagles contacts and agency partners to ensure deliverables are met
• Assist with reporting, recaps, and asset usage tied specifically to the Eagles relationship
Operational Execution
• Manage sponsorship and event-related administrative duties: vendor contracts, invoicing, tickets, merchandise, storage, co-branded inventory, and shipment coordination
• Create or support presentation materials for leadership and partnership reviews
• Oversee premium experience fulfillment and VIP guest planning tied to business objectives
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS WHICH MUST BE PERFORMED (WITH OR WITHOUT REASONABLE ACCOMMODATIONS) INCLUDE PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
• Knowledge of sponsorship management, sponsorship marketing, live event activation, and hospitality execution
• A passion for relationship-based marketing and partnership-building through experiences
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across teams and external partners
• Excellent organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail and follow-through
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including meeting facilitation and presentations
• Fluent in presentation development (PowerPoint or similar tools) to support sponsorship storytelling and reporting
• Financial awareness related to budgeting, spend tracking, and vendor/payment coordination
• Availability for on-site execution at events, including evenings and weekends as needed
KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND EXPERIENCE:
• 3-5 years of relevant experience in a marketing related role.
• Bachelor degree in a marketing related field and; experience in event and/or sponsorship marketing preferred
• Strong verbal, written, analytical, and interpersonal skills with the proven ability to interact effectively with all levels of employees, management, and customers.
• Ability to establish an independent view, collaborate in decision-making and motivate others during difficult situations or on tough organizational issues.
• Ability to solve practical problems and organize workload for effective implementation under general supervision.
• Must be flexible and able to adapt to a continuously changing environment.
