What You Will Do:

The Senior Grants System Configuration and Integration Specialist will support the rapid configuration, integration, testing, and technical troubleshooting of a large Federal grants management system and provide advanced technical support for a high-profile, accelerated client engagement.

This multi-faceted role includes rapidly understanding the complex grants business requirements of the target clients, quickly configuring the client’s systems to support these requirements, migrating data, conducting tests, identifying and remediating defects, and providing advanced technical support, where necessary.

The candidate will need to work in a high-pressure environment with aggressive deadlines and limited resources.  They must be comfortable leading conversations with senior level clients and working closely with software engineers, system engineers, and architects, as well as customer service personnel.  They will be required to refine user requirements and provide solutions that meet the client’s needs, working in an agile environment. They will also be required to ensure that any potential technical solution offered to the client is configured and successfully tested prior to client acceptance of the solution.

While this role does not require formal people management, the candidate should be comfortable in a project management role that requires working across disparate organizational units. This role requires a leader who can roll up their sleeves and drive discrete tasks to completion. This role is hands-on. The candidate will be actively working within the grants management system and using approved technical tools to load, test, and manage agency data. The candidate will provide analysis on ensuring the technical activities meet all security requirements.

This Senior Grants System Configuration and Integration Specialist will support the project leader of the accelerated client engagement.

What You Will Need:
 

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical field, Computer Science preferred.
• Minimum TEN (10) years of technology delivery experience, working with complex systems and clients
• Minimum EIGHT (8) years of technology delivery experience with U.S. Federal Civilian agencies
• Minimum EIGHT (8) years supporting Federal grant systems
• Proven knowledge and experience configuring the GrantSolutions system for Federal agencies
• Proven experience supporting the migration of at least three Federal programs into the GrantSolutions platform
• Demonstrated ability to utilize database tools (e.g., Toad) to assist in analyzing data and troubleshooting data migrations
• Proficiency in the Atlassian suite of software project tools, especially Jira and Confluence
• Proven experience effectively prioritizing workload to meet deadlines and work objectives in a complex and dynamic environment
• Minimum Clearance: Ability to obtain Public Trust

What Would Be Nice To Have:

• Master’s degree in technical management
• Experience using automated testing tools to simulate user behavior / volume
• Security + or other cybersecurity-related certification
