Senior Analyst

<p>Delivery team members deliver on and embody Exiger’s purpose daily – making the world a safer place to do business – through researching, writing, reviewing, editing and developing reputational due diligence that inform business decisions for many of the world’s largest and most influential organizations and institutions globally. Delivery team members are on the front lines helping our clients understand with whom they are doing business and identify potential risks associated with such business relationships.</p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities </strong></p> <ul> <li>Apply diligence in reviewing files and data to identify deficiencies, discrepancies, omissions, and material risks.</li> <li>Investigate and/or escalate any identified risk factors.</li> <li>Exercise independence in recommending cases for escalation or closure.</li> <li>Develop and maintain professional working relationships with colleagues and clients.</li> <li>Performs short Due Diligence reports or summaries for Exiger customers in accordance with procedures on companies and individuals</li> <li>Assists the Client Implementation team in testing of the accuracy of risks identified from new and/or existing compliance platforms.</li> <li>Answer to direct manager regarding the activities connected with his position.</li> <li>Work with transactional information, customer due diligence, case management system information, web-based compliance tools and opensource searches.</li> <li>Perform research using a variety of public records, databases and other web-based sources and tools as well as proprietary Exiger technology to support the production of Exiger diligence products.</li> <li>Review negative news, sanctions, and/or Politically Exposed Persons (PEP) alerts.</li> <li>Deliver brief, narrative due diligence products</li> <li>Based on the business needs,activities specific to other internal analyst roles, might be performed, without limiting to: <ul> <li>Verify claims of employment, education, licenses, and/or service providers through directly contacting the entity that maintains such records by email, phone, fax, or through their online platform / search engine or by using a third-party provider through which this information is made available.</li> <li>Use and respect the adequate templates (fax / e-mail / phone), the specific guidelines on direct verifications and the correct contact details (previous employers, educational institutions etc.)</li> <li>Maintain and update a direct verifications tracker and monitor the pending checks. </li> <li>Write clear, concise, and thoroughly notes and findings.</li> <li>Extract de relevant information based on existing guideline.</li> </ul> </li> <li>Ensure the confidentiality of the information and documents to which they have access (both professionally and personally) in accordance with data protection legislation, with internal regulations and internal norms, including the confidentiality agreement</li> <li>Follow the internal procedures, the Internal Regulations, and the job description.</li> <li>Has the obligation to enroll in and complete all training and testing sessions provided by the external partners in the field of occupational health and safety, fire prevention and extinguishing.</li> <li>Is responsible for being compliant with occupational safety and health regulations, fire prevention and extinguishing, having the obligation to immediately report to the employer and / or designated workers any work situation about which they have good reason to consider it a danger to the safety and health of themselves /colleagues , as well as any deficiencies in the protection systems.</li> <li>Has the obligation to use and keep, in good conditions all the equipment and devices provided by the company so they may carry out the activity.</li> <li>Execute any other dispositions given by the direct management team in the fulfilment of the company's strategies within the limits of the legal framework</li> </ul> <p><strong>Knowledge &amp; Skills </strong></p> <ul> <li>Strong analytical and research skills.</li> <li>Attention to detail.</li> <li>Solid communication (written and verbal) and organizational skills.</li> <li>Ability to deliver high quality work in a fast-paced, high volume environment with strict deadlines.</li> <li>Strong commitment to continuous improvement and learning, with an openness to receiving feedback and training.</li> <li>Team player with high level of initiative and a proactive approach to work</li> <li>Ability to work effectively in a team as well as independently; takes ownership of tasks and follow up to ensure that they are successfully brought to completion.</li> <li>Ability to utilize technology to solve problems.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Professional Experience Required</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree required</li> <li>1-2 years of working experience preferably in a due diligence, compliance, risk management field or a company specialized in transaction or risk moni
