The Department of Surgery is looking for a Staffing Administrative Coordinator to join the Research Administration team. This position will report to the Academic and Staffing Manager and serve as an HR representative for the Department. The Staffing Administrative Coordinator will be responsible for the overall recruitment and staffing processes for all full-time and part-time staff, postdoctoral researchers, and temps. This position will serve as department liaison, instruct supervisors in preparation of job descriptions and pay levels, and will communicate human resource policies related to Departmental/University policy/procedure changes to staff, faculty and students as appropriate. The Staffing Admin Coordinator will work closely with the Grant Management team, faculty, Departmental leadership, and PSOM HR.Qualifications: High School Grad/GE Degree, and 5 to 7 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Bachelors degree is preferred.
