About the role:

As the Senior Director of ICS Global Product Management and Growth, you will lead the global Product Management function for the Instrumentation & Control Systems business, with responsibility for portfolio strategy, product roadmaps, lifecycle priorities, and growth initiatives across the ICS offering portfolio. You will establish and continuously improve product management processes, tools, analytics, and operating cadence to support consistent execution and informed business decisions. To this end, you will collaborate closely with regional customer solutions teams, Global Markets, Sales, Engineering, and other cross-functional stakeholders to align portfolio strategy with customer needs, business objectives, and market opportunities. Additionally, you will builds organizational capability and drive portfolio decisions that support sustainable growth, competitive differentiation, and long-term business success.

 

You will report to the President of ICS and will be based out of either our Warrendale, PA or Cranberry Township, PA facilities.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop the global Product Management function for the ICS portfolio, including organizational capability, operating discipline, and talent development
  • Define and drive portfolio strategy, value propositions, and multi-year product roadmaps aligned with business objectives and market needs
  • Own product lifecycle priorities across the ICS portfolio, including strategy, investment planning, development, launch, sustainment, and retirement decisions
  • Assess market, customer, and competitive landscapes to identify growth opportunities, support capture strategies, and strengthen Westinghouse differentiation
  • Establish and improve product management processes, tools, metrics, and governance to enable effective portfolio management, product launch readiness and informed decision-making
  • Own product heatmaps and demand creation priorities, and align actions with regional customer solutions teams, Global Markets, and Sales organizations
  • Set and maintain an effective operating cadence with Customer Solutions, Global Markets, Sales, Engineering, and other stakeholders to support growth and execution priorities
  • Develop, prioritize, and justify product and innovation investments using sound business cases, including ROI, payback, market potential, and time-to-market considerations
  • Prioritize new product introduction opportunities and allocate available innovation resources to achieve business case objectives and portfolio growth goals
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Delivery, Finance, Legal, and Procurement to ensure products are competitive, compliant, supportable, and aligned with business objectives
  • Support strategic customer engagement and commercial positioning by articulating the Westinghouse value proposition, product differentiation, and roadmap direction
  • Ensure alignment between portfolio strategy, operating plans, account plans, and the broader strategic planning cycle
  • Own portfolio analytics and performance insights to support informed business decisions, continuous improvement, and long-term portfolio sustainability
  • Build and lead a Product Management team, including talent development, succession planning, organizational capability building and knowledge transfer
  • Serve as a trusted senior product leader by clearly communicating complex technical, commercial, and financial information to executive leadership and cross-functional stakeholders

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in I&C product management, offer development, portfolio leadership, or related business leadership roles, including at least 5 years of team leadership or people management experience
  • 5+ years of experience leading teams or managing people in a matrixed or direct leadership capacity
  • Strong technical background in Instrumentation & Control Systems or a related industrial technology domain
