At our Banks Crossing facility, we are part of the Meat division where we create hundreds of different products for Kerry and our retail customers. Night Shift hours: 6PM - 6AM, 2-2-3 rotating schedule
$1.20 shift differential for working night shift
What you'll do:
The Warehouse Operative plays an important role in ensuring Kerry’s warehouse operates with optimum precision and efficiency, helping to fulfill orders and prepare them for shipment.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Assists with all shipping, receiving, and inventory organization operations
- Helps to efficiently carry out all product loading and unloading tasks
- Scans and tracks incoming and outgoing orders
- Receives and processes new inventory, ensuring contents match manifest documents
- Inspects receivables for defects, damages, or missing items
- Unloads, stacks, moves, and places products in designated areas
- Moves and transfers products between various sections of the warehouse as needed
- Uses forklifts, pallet jacks, hand carts, etc. to transfer and deliver goods
- Performs specific manual inventory counts
- Stacks, shelves, and stages items for storage and shipments as necessary
- Fulfills and tracks outgoing orders
- Collects, prepares, packages, and labels goods for shipment
- Staging materials needed for production in to Manufacturing orders
- Creating transfer packets needed for the transfer of material to Manufacturing Orders.
What you'll need to be successful and safe:
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Previous warehouse experience preferred
- Forklift certification and/or ability to successfully complete forklift training
- Able to work long hours on one’s feet and perform physically demanding tasks
- Flexible with shift work and possible night hours
- Familiar with common warehouse tools and equipment
- Dependable and responsible
- Strong work ethic
- Comfortable working independently
- Makes safety a priority
The typical hiring range for this role is $16.91 to 24.39 per hour and is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications. This position may also be eligible for a shift differential and/or overtime. In addition to your pay, Kerry offers benefits such as a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and retirement contribution (all benefits and incentives are subject to eligibility requirements).
