About the role

As an Enterprise Workplace Architect, you will be responsible for the strategic design and implementation of workplace solutions that meet the current and future needs of the organization. 

  • Developing concepts for modern and scalable workplace architecture.
  • Managing the backbone functionality of Digital Workspace Platform 
    • Policy definition
    • Configuration design
    • Active use of Nexthink to identify vulnerabilities & improvements
  • Planning and executing infrastructure projects to optimize workplace environments.
  • Designing the platform for a “non admin intervention” state 
    • Ensuring a hardware independent platform concept
    • Automating fixes for reoccurring problems
    • Operating RBAC  
    • Address identified vulnerabilities
    • Unsing Nexthink for live/on-the-spot platform monitoring to increase stability
  • Defining and evolving best practices and standards for the digital workplace.
  • Providing strategic advice to senior management and collaborating with various IT departments and external partners & providers.
  • Evaluating new technologies and tools to continuously improve IT workplace strategies.
  • Creating technical roadmaps for introduction and maintenance. 
  • Conducting employee training and knowledge transfer to ensure efficient use of implemented solutions.
  • Analyzing and optimizing user experiences by introducing efficient processes and tools.
  • Ensuring compliance with internal security standards and legal requirements.
  • Creating and maintaining platform related documentation and knowledge sharing
  • A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience.
  • Several years of professional experience in designing and implementing IT workplace strategies.
  • In-depth knowledge of technologies such as Microsoft 365, Windows Autopilot, Intune, and virtualization platforms.
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing UEM solutions.
  • Ability to communicate complex topics clearly and create concise presentations.
  • Strong analytical skills, problem-solving competence, and a strategic mindset.
  • Teamwork, initiative, and excellent communication skills.
  • Support decision making processes.
  • Full English proficiency (German optional).
