The newly established XC Cross Domain Computing Solutions division develops and manufactures innovative technologies for networking a wide variety of control and communication architectures throughout the automotive network. With our forward-looking mobility concepts, we are helping to shape the transformation of mobility worldwide with innovative solutions. At our location in Vienna, we develop innovative products in the entire vehicle network for our international customers.

Job Description

  • Take Responsibility: Together with our customers and stakeholders you design innovative Embedded Systems for Vehicles. You have the functional as well as the economical background in your mind.
  • Global development: You align the requirements, define the user stories and work with the backlog in an agile and international team.
  • Communicate in networks: You are exchanging permanently with the team as well as with the customers and stakeholders to ensure the target-oriented implementation of the product requirements.
  • Build new team: In cooperation with the management, you actively support the team setup and growth with your experience.

Qualifications

  • Personality: You are communicative, like to work in teams and in an analytical and structured way. You are able to gain a in depth understanding of complete systems and quickly analyze complex issues. Willingness for occasional business trips would be desirable.
  • Know How: Good knowledge of programming in C, C++ and State of the art Software Development environments like Git, Jenkins, Docker. Experience with POSIX operating systems (Linux, QNX, RTOS).  Hardware related software skills, Automotive background, AUTOSAR knowledge, CAN/Ethernet and Safety/Security would be an advantage. Besides a good functional overview, you are experienced as a team lead, as project manager or in agile roles.
  • Education and language skills: Completed studies in Electronic Engineering, Embedded Systems, Computer Engineering / Science. Good communication skills in English and German language.

In addition to all the benefits already mentioned, it is important to us to offer an attractive compensation package. The annual gross salary for 38.5 hours according to the collective agreement for the metal industry is from EUR 45,000 p.a. for this position. Depending on your qualifications and professional experience, there is a willingness to pay a significant overpayment.
