LACCD Project Engineer II

We are currently looking for a Project Engineer II (LACCD 483)  for our contract with Los Angeles Community College District.

This is an on-site, long term job. You must be located in Southern California. NO relocation funds, and NO per diem.

Minimum Requirements

Required Experience/Skills:

• 5-8 years minimum recent professional experience in a similar or equivalent position involved in project or construction. 
• BS/BA Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business or related degree. Additional qualifying experience in excess to the minimum stated above may be
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. 
• Strong written and verbal communications skills. 
• Able to travel to LACCD campuses 
• Must have high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations and documents 
• Must be proficient in MS Office applications such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. 
• Ability to work in fast-paced environment and adhere to deadlines. 
• Ability to take initiative and make sound decisions. 

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Experience on Educational programs/projects. 
• Experience on large public works programs. 
• Experience with Trimble Unity Construct. 
• Experience with audits. 

 Compensation:
The pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be dependent on factors such as individual’s qualifications, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities.
