Pay Range:
$18.85 - $28.30Supports Imaging Technologists with preparation of patient and examination room prior to, during, and following imaging procedures. Transports patients and performs clerical, film, and/or picture archiving and communication system (PACS) management support functions.
Major Responsibilities:
- Transports patients between departments and escorts patients, families, and visitors as needed.
- Uses radiology computer systems to generate requisitions, check schedules, and obtain pertinent patient information.
- Assists patient in preparation for exam and transferring patients to and from exam rooms. Provides basic instruction to patients regarding routine procedures, i.e. changing clothes, position for exams, etc.
- Organizes and prepares exam rooms and work areas, including cleaning, stocking, ordering supplies, and maintaining equipment.
