Job Description
The Brand Marketing Associate Director leads the market presence of their regional business unit of Bosch Tools in North America. This role leads and drives localization of the business unit global marketing strategy and activities informed by the local consumer journey, including product positioning and marketing concepts, messaging and claims, go-to-market and product launch activities, eDealer content and optimization, point-of-sale and merchandising across retailers and distributors, and training support for the assigned business unit. Leading a team of talent assigned to those specific areas, the Associate Director is responsible for building effective relationships with global marketing teams within the central business units, across functions in North America including sales, digital, training, business operations, and procurement, and with external agency partners. The Associate Director works together with the Digital Experience Associate Director and Brand Marketing Director to build fully integrated plans across the User Journey that contribute to improving brand health, perception, and market share.
Primary Duties and Accountabilities
- Lead localization strategy and vision for assigned regional business unit informed by user journey analysis
- Drive cohesive brand messaging throughout paid, owned and earned touchpoints
- Deliver strong go-to-market product launches including positioning, messaging, online/offline content, point-of-sale, merchandising concepts, training materials and other launch materials
- Oversee monitoring, analysis and optimization of online content and SEM for BoschTools.com, retailer.com and distributor.com at sku level (PDPs) and for specific category pages
- Oversee merchandising and packaging for assigned regional business unit including necessary testing and optimization opportunities
- Develop and inspire team of talent to high performance
Qualifications
- Proven track record in brand management including concept development, positioning, and messaging delivery
- Proven track record in product launch and go-to-market practices including online and offline touchpoints and point-of-sale/merchandising, and packaging
- Proven track record in content planning and creation for a diverse set of digital properties
- Proven track record in digital marketing including analysis, optimization, and understanding of current digital best practices and requirements including SEM
- Consumer-led mindset
- Works cross-functionally to solve problems and execute programs
- Proven track record of complex problem solving, bias for results, and strong communication skills
- Experience with internal or external creative agency management
- Experience with consumer research practices
- Experience with media planning, execution, analysis and optimization
- Familiarity with commercial retailer relationship management from a marketing seat
- Familiarity with product development and innovation from a marketing seat
