The Impact You'll Make
This role is a Senior IT Manager specializing in SAP (across S4 and SAP cloud platforms), participates in the business process re-engineering discussions and drives the execution of implementation of transformative solutions in Digital Transformation (DT) program. This person works closely with the Business, Global cross functional & technical teams and is accountable to come up with the right functional designs and technical solutions. Works closely across all groups within IT to ensure IT deliverables and milestones are delivered including solutioning, planning, functional designs & specifications, build, testing, release management, hyper care, and end-of–project retrospectives.
- Engages with the leaders in GIS (Global Information Systems) & Business to understand their needs; works with SAP Functional/Technical leads and BSAs to document requirements and is accountable for coming up with scalable functional designs of solutions.
- Demonstrates strong leadership skills and brings thought leadership to the re-engineering discussions.
- Actively partners with cross functional teams to do business analysis and is responsible for developing functional design flows and specifications.
- Strong ability to navigate and collaborate across the IT organization.
- Drive and assist with the development of requirements and business cases.
- Deep understanding of the applications within Lam system landscape and be able to lead discussions with the internal stakeholders and external partners.
What You'll Do
- Good knowledge of the general IT processes and be able to produce key metrics to drive excellence.
- Experience in managing escalations brought up by the team in their respective functional areas (project issues).
- Facilitates vendor selection process and manages vendor relationships.
- Responsible for Digital Transformation Program execution delivery - resource commitments, timelines, and project health across the portfolio.
- Manages a team of DT Solution Architects who will build the future state solutions for the re-engineered business processes.
- Regularly identifies risks and communicates project health to senior leadership.
- Identifies and directs changes through appropriate review and approval mechanisms.
Who We're Looking For
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience in a related field required.
- 18+ years of experience delivering information technology services and 5-6 years’ experience in managing high performing teams.
- Functional - SAP & S4 – Hands on experience with key SAP modules (S4 expertise is mandatory) such as Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Logistics, WM, Sales & Distribution, MM, PP, FI, etc.
- Prior experience as a key member of a large-scale Digital Transformation program.
- Leadership – Demonstrates Thought leadership, detail-oriented team player with strong organizational skills, problem solving and leadership skills.
- Organizational – Experience managing global SAP functional teams and ability to work closely with the SAP technical team in strategizing, solutioning designs and supporting problem resolution.
- Strategic – Ability to think out of the box when it comes to solutioning key business challenges. Having a mindset and experience in Digital Transformation initiative is preferred.
- Collaboration and communication – Ability to understand the business processes and collaborating effectively will be very important to establish the credibility of the team and the skills they bring in. Leadership in demonstrating these traits will be very important.
