Pay range is $20.95 – $25.95/hr. Based on Experience

Rehire criteria:

 

• Must have 90 days from the last term date.

• if term 3x or more is not eligible.

• Must have a minimum of six (6) months or mechanical work experience documented in the work history section of the application or be a graduate and/or student of an industrial maintenance training program. (can be a combination of employment as long as the experience is at "least 6 months")

Description

This position is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing all equipment and company assets while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

Tasks

General Maintenance positions are responsible for keeping machinery running to maintain continuous production.

• Must be willing to set up, adjust and break down production line machinery.

• Must be willing to learn Tyson SAP software to make work orders and fill out the daily documentation that is required in the system.

• Must have good verbal and written communication skills and able to communicate with other Team Members, producers, USDA personnel and drivers.  

• Must be able to use math as needed to make work-related computations for machinery, fluid capacities, etc.

•   Must be willing to lift 70 lbs, periodically throughout the shift on a daily basis and be willing to work on your feet for a period of 12 hours.

• Must be willing to complete all required training for the job.
