This role is pivotal in managing and executing key elements of our Quality and Compliance operational plans. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality assurance, continuous improvement, and regulatory compliance within the aerospace industry or other manufacturing environments.

What You Will Do:

  • Quality and Compliance Management:

    • Manage the site execution of key elements of Quality and Compliance operational plans, ensuring adherence to internal and regulatory standards.
    • Support organizational projects and processes to enhance overall quality.
    • Update, troubleshoot, and optimize quality processes to provide a robust framework for the site Quality Management System (QMS).
  • Quality Improvement:

    • Participate in Quality Management Reviews with cross-functional leadership to drive quality improvements.
    • Ensure the quality of suppliers, products, and processes are compliant with internal and regulatory standards and continuously improving.
  • Auditing and Compliance:

    • Participate in site Layered Process Audits & Internal audit activities.
    • Assist other sites with best practice sharing and benchmarking.
    • Analyze and recommend Quality Assurance plans, guidelines, policies, and processes to ensure the achievement of targets.
    • Implement projects and processes to ensure overall quality is continuously improving.
  • Data Analysis and Strategy Development:

    • Conduct collection and analysis of quality information from multiple sources for the development of strategy and programs.
  • Document Control:

    • Uploading new documents, removing previous revisions, and obsolete documents.
    • Notifying document owners when documents are due for 3-year review.
    • Owning and verifying the accuracy and currency of the document master list.
    • Ensuring compliance with enterprise-level controlled documentation.
  • System Administration:

    • Act as an administrator for providing iQMS and QSI access.
    • Complete document ballots.
  • Audit Facilitation:

    • Serve as the point of contact for 2nd & 3rd party audits.
    • Facilitate and manage 1st party/internal audits.
    • Facilitate the completion of corrective actions resulting from 1st, 2nd, and 3rd party audit findings.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience.

  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future. RTX will not offer sponsorship for this position.

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Experience with AS9100 process and certification activities preferred.

  • Prior experience in a manufacturing and/or warehouse environment preferred.

  • RCCA and/or auditing experience preferred.

  • Continuous Improvement background preferred.

  • Experience working with quality control systems and documentation.
