Summary


The Department of Natural Resources, Division of Agriculture, is recruiting for an Administrative Officer 2 in Palmer.


This position is open to Alaska Residents only.

What You Will Be Doing:  

This role oversees all administrative functions within the Division of Agriculture, including managing budgets, accounting, human resources, procurement, travel arrangements, and finances. The ideal candidate must possess strong self-management skills, keen attention to detail, and effective problem-solving capabilities. In addition to supervising two Administrative Assistants, the position also provides technical direction across various areas—such as payroll, expenditures, grant payments, budget forecasting, and travel—for two components.
