Founded in 2003, Glass Lewis is headquartered in San Francisco, California with additional offices in Kansas City, Missouri; Paris, France; Limerick, Ireland; Karlsruhe, Germany; Sydney, Australia; Tokyo, Japan; and Manila, Philippines.</p><p></p><p><strong>Position:</strong> <br/>We are recruiting a highly skilled Senior Angular UI Developer (2 positions) to join our team in Romania. The ideal candidate should have a strong work ethic, excellent time-management and interpersonal skills, and a passion for developing fast and scalable websites. The candidate should be able to design and develop intuitive user interfaces that meet business requirements using Angular and other client-side libraries. Candidates must have experience with all levels of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) for enterprise level applications. </p><p></p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul> <li>Actively participate in agile ceremonies (Grooming, Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews and Retrospectives).</li> <li>Design, develop and maintain the UX for various applications in an Agile environment</li> <li>Architect complete front-end stack of projects using HTML/CSS and TypeScript with Angular</li> <li>Ensure responsive implementation</li> <li>Help write new design patterns, improve and adapt existing design component integration</li> <li>Ensure implementation is globalized</li> <li>Contribute to the architecture, design and coding of our next generation web-based enterprise solutions</li> <li>Implement UI component design focused on re-usability / scalability / extensibility</li> <li>Collaborate with fellow developers, designers and analysts to solve problems</li> <li>Assist in the deployment of releases and patches into the production environment</li> <li>Be available out-of-business hours for production support on a rotational basis</li> <li>Managing teams and mentoring team members and enabling them to progress in their careers</li> </ul><p> </p><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><p>Degree in computer science or equivalent with a minimum of 7 years’ experience in software development. Experience using the following technologies and methodologies:</p><p></p><ul> <li>Excellence in Angular development and other client-side libraries</li> <li>Strong knowledge of HTML/CSS and TypeScript</li> <li>Experience in working with onshore/offshore teams</li> <li>Experience with OAuth and OpenID</li> <li>Strong drive to learn and produce beautiful code</li> <li>Strong hands-on experience with responsive UI design and development using media queries</li> <li>Experience with RESTful services and Web API's</li> <li>Experience working with Azure DevOps and Git.</li> <li>Experience with API services.</li> <li>Knowledge of Dependency Injection and writing testable code.</li> <li>Experience with automated unit testing frameworks, test-driven development and Continuous Integration. </li> <li>Experience implementing features in applications by leveraging design patterns.</li> <li>Strong documentation and communication skills</li> </ul>
