Maintenance Technician - Night Shift

Full-Time

Night Shift - approximate shift times of 3 PM – 1 AM

Starting pay for night shift candidates is $27/hr. This includes a $23/hr. base pay + $4/hr. shift differential. Pay will be determined based on experience and skill set.

Rogers Group is seeking a night shift Maintenance Technician for our underground and surface operation located in Princeton, KY. The successful candidate for this role will have an uncompromising emphasis on safety excellence, be a self-starter and will have responsibilities that include but not limited to:

• Routine equipment/plant maintenance
• Operating production equipment
• Involved with plant improvement projects
• Inspect and perform daily repairs and maintenance on plant
• Inspect and maintain crushers, conveyors, screens, and other equipment
• Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

• Must have a dedication to safe work practices
• Previous maintenance experience is preferred
• Mechanical aptitude/ability to diagnose and perform plant repairs as needed
• Must be willing to work a regular 3 pm - 1 am shift
• Must be willing to work overtime and weekends as needed
• Must be willing to work outside in a variety of conditions
• Must pass pre-employment drug screening

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in industrial maintenance is preferred, but not required
• Working knowledge of quarry utilities and equipment including crushers, conveyors, scales, etc. 
• Experience welding and cutting
