Core Job Responsibilities
Assists the Project Manager in achieving project deadlines and milestones
Communicates with the entire project team to facilitate project goals and initiatives
Identifies procurement needs and mitigates risks such as lead times and part availability
Creates new part numbers and symbols for use in designs and maintains the Bill of Materials (BOM) for products in NI’s PLM (Product Lifecycle Management)
Responsible for project logistics and maintaining accuracy and timeliness of manufacturing jobs
Coordinates with cross-functional teams to ensure that deliverables are completed on time
Follows-up and thoroughly tracks results of all assigned tasks
Basic Qualifications
Detail-oriented
Exhibits initiative & persistence to overcome obstacles to meet project goals
Works well in a team environment
Follows existing processes and identifies and escalates any process deficiencies
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks while adhering to respective deadlines
Capable of learning and retaining technical information (required for part creation and BOM management)
Ability to coordinate and work across groups/departments
Thorough competence with Microsoft Office suite
High School diploma (or GED equivalent)
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting engineering groups in a corporate environment
Experience using Agile and Oracle
