The Tax Transformation Office serves Deloitte Tax, focused on transforming client service delivery inclusive of people, process, and technology for our Tax Professionals to deliver efficient, high value, quality service to our clients. Tax Transformation drives improvements across the full range of Tax market offerings. What You’ll Do:

The Strategy & Project Management Senior Consultant plays a pivotal role in shaping and driving the strategic direction of Tax Transformation. This role is responsible for collaborating to define, develop, and execute key initiatives that align with Tax's and Tax Transformation's strategic priorities. The Strategy & Project Management Senior Consultant will work closely with senior stakeholders to deliver a portfolio of projects. This role demands a strategic thinker with analytical skills and the ability to support the management of complex projects across multiple workstreams.

  • Support the definition, management, and execution of strategic initiatives
  • Collaborate across and project manage multiple projects to achieve business priorities
  • Partner with technology and change professionals to understand how technology, process standardization, and other delivery enablers can be leveraged across initiatives
  • Engage with Tax professionals to understand client service pain points, assess opportunities, and deliver process improvements
  • Leverage creative problem solving skills to identify and support the resolution of issues related to Commercial initiatives
  • Engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels and build a network within Tax Transformation and across Tax to enhance the effectiveness of the work you deliver
  • Prepare and support delivery of executive-level presentations

The Team:

Deloitte Tax LLP's Tax Transformation Office is responsible for collaborating with business and technology stakeholders to define delivery standards and the standard process to support the delivery of Tax services, as well as the related development and deployment of technology to enable service delivery. Members of Tax Transformation elevate Deloitte Tax Professionals, in support of providing higher value services to Deloitte clients, through identifying opportunities to streamline delivery, increase resource fungibility, improve ROI on technology investments, increase agility, elevate the digital client experience, and promote Deloitte Tax as a tech-forward leader. The Tax Transformation Office focuses on enhancing Deloitte Tax LLP's ability to deliver value-added and efficient Tax services to our clients. Tax Transformation consists of professionals with varying background ranging from Tax Professionals, Human Capital and Technology Consultants, and other IT professionals including Quality Assurance and Technology Support. The team consults and executes on a wide range of projects with a strong focus on process design and deployment and adoption, including stakeholder analysis, communications, learning and change management.

Qualifications Required:

  • Ability to perform job responsibilities within a hybrid work model that requires US Tax professionals to co-locate 2-3 days per week
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, or information technology related field
  • 3+ years of client service experience in strategy and operations or technology consulting, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously while delivering outstanding quality and meeting established deadlines
  • Ability to travel 25%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
  • One of the following active accreditations obtained, in process, or willing and able to obtain:
    • Licensed CPA in state of practice/primary office if eligible to sit for the CPA
