About the role

The Business Analyst is responsible for data analysis, reporting and business intelligence for the foundation and to support the overall enterprise in querying and analyzing data for strategic purposes. Will help to manage the overall integrity of the donor database by overseeing updates and changes to prospect and donor records. Will segment the database to extract and produce ad-hoc, production and integrity reports; fill data file/mailing list requests; manage/track prospect activity; monitor donor cultivation and fundraising success; and to produce financial analysis when needed. This position will also help to train others on how to use the donor systems for both input and inquiry.

Required Qualifications:

  • Associate's Degree Business Administration, Accounting, Information Systems, Project Management or a related field, and 2+ years doing similar work.
  • 2 years Report writing, data analysis and/or business analysis
  • 3 years Experience managing donor or client databases.
  • 2 years Performing highly skilled computer applications including word processing, spreadsheets, list management, and financial reporting.
  • 3-5 years Experience with donor software programs.
  • 3-5 years Experience with large database segmentation and reporting.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree Business Administration, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years Knowledge of fundraising systems

The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
