 How will you make an impact? 

The job is placed in our Supply Chain Finance organization, where we are on an exciting journey in our Logistics area. We will collect even more data and secure standardization across our markets and at the same time automate and digitize our data collection, controlling and performance management reporting so we give our decision makers the best foundation.

As a Senior Manager, you will interact with several stakeholder in Arla and facilitate implementation of this across our core markets in Europe. You will lead a talented team of specialists who are responsible for developing the performance foundation within the logistics area. This includes, for example logistics costing set up and reporting, variance reporting with split in volumes, activities, price and efficiency in order to provide transparent data to the business.

 

What will make you successful?

• Drive a standardization process across locations and markets via implementation of standard processes and system setup.
• Drive the automatization and streamlining of administrative and financial tasks where necessary
• Support the wider Supply Chain Finance team and the Logistics business with technical challenges that arise.
• Establish the right data foundation for data collection when we add new areas into the business after growth, M&A etc.
• Be a key sparring partner to the business on all relevant projects within the team.
• As department manager, you will secure a strong and motivated work environment ensuring that skills are developed so that the expert positioning is maintained and grown.

 

Who are you?

To be successful in this role you have previous leadership experience, or a strong desire to become a future leader of Arla. Apart from this, your future success is based upon the following:

• Firstly,  you have an analytical skillset and the ability to quickly understand a complex problem.
• Secondly, you possess the personal impact and communicative skills that help you build relationships and interact across functions, cultures and manufacturing sites.
• Finally, you know your own strengths and weaknesses in relation to people, both in relation to your team and your stakeholders, and you have the ability to navigate through and act as a role model to your people and trusted advisor to your stakeholders.
• You hold a master’s degree in finance and 5+ years experience in a similar role in a finance manager role covering supply chain, ideally with experience in, or a strong interest in logistics finance. Regardless, you are good at grasping process flows and finding optimisation potential.
