We are hiring for a Janitor / Facility Worker for a job site near Ville Platte, LA. Janitors are expected to maintain the premise and occasionally assit skilled workers in performing their assigned duties. Non-exempt role; Reports to the Foreman; Assigned duties according to specific procedures / work is checked frequently.

 

Schedule:  Night Shift 

 

Essential Qualifications:

• High school or equivalent
• General knowledge of cleaning
• Must be able to successfully pass site course / exam
• Post offer drug / alcohol screen, physical evaluation, and signed acceptance of the Turner Industries Drug, Alcohol and Contraband Policy
• Comply with company and client job site safety requirements
• Must not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of others in the workplace

 

Functional Requirements:

Maintains premises; ensures rest and working areas of offices, industrial buildings and outer grounds are in clean and orderly condition; performs a combination of dusting furniture, walls, fixtures, and equipment; sweeping, scrubbing, mopping, waxing, and buffering floors; polishing furniture, fixtures, and trimmings; using janitorial supplies; cleaning lavatories, showers, and rest rooms; performs a variety of non-mechanical tasks; spends time on the job or may be transferred from task to task as needed; perform additional assignments per supervisor's direction

 

Compensation

Final agreed upon compensation is based upon individual qualifications and experience.

Physical Involvement:
