Senior Java Developer

We currently have a career opportunity for a Senior Java Developer to join our team located in Lake Mary, FL or Pittsburgh, PA.

As a Senior Java Developer  you will participate in all aspects of the software development lifecycle which includes estimating, technical design, implementation, documentation, testing, deployment and support of application developed for our clients. As a member working in a team environment you will take direction from solution architects and Leads on development activities.

• Participate in technical planning & requirements gathering phases including Design, code, test, troubleshoot, and document engineering software applications.
•  Ensuring that technical software development process is followed on the project, familiar with industry best practices for software development.
• Develop applications in languages including Java 11 or 7, Oracle and Unix.
• Demonstrate the ability to adapt and work with team members of various experience level.

1. Strong Java experience - min 8 years+ 
   • Must have Java 11 or Java 17 experience.
2. Solid understanding of Oracle - min 5+ years' experience on oracle of any other SQL databases
3. Solid knowledge on Unix - mins 5+ years of working experience on Unix
4. Good understanding of Dev ops practices including gitlab, ci/cd pipelines etc.
5. Demonstrated ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, streamline workflows, and support data-informed task execution. 
6. Familiarity with AI-enhanced platforms is a plus. 
7. A solid understanding of AI capabilities and limitations including ethical considerations is expected
8. Excellent problem-solving skills
9. Solid understand and usage of AI tools & models for daily code development
