This is an Exempt level position.
Job Description:
This position is responsible for staffing ARTCO lineboats as well as providing administrative support to ARTCO Lineboat group. This individual is part of a 4-member team and works in a fast-paced, changeable environment. The successful candidate will be self-motivated, detail oriented, analytical, able to perform to meet crewing time schedules and deadlines, work individually as well as part of a team, communicate clearly by oral and written means and understand the interaction between the various ARTCO departments as it contributes to successful operations. This individual will respect and protect confidential personnel information under this department’s care and custody.
Position Responsibilities:
- Successfully schedule and coordinate crew changes between staff aboard the vessel and those providing relief each approximate 30 day period, providing any transportation or other assistance necessary to accomplish crew changes on a timely basis.
- Hire lineboat staff as needed.
- Process lineboat payroll.
- Maintain personnel files and other documentation as required by the Company or state and federal employment law.
- Educate employees to Company policies and enforce as needed.
- Other assignments as needed to accomplish Company objectives.
- The successful candidate will possess many of the following preferred skills, abilities, and credentials:
- Prior experience in Human Resources with knowledge of FMLA, ADA and other employment law preferred but not mandatory.
- Competent in Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, Outlook, and Word.
- Experience in logistics and/or planning.
- Problem solving and conflict resolution skills.
- Proper telephone etiquette
- Evening and weekend availability required.
- This position will also require working on the telephone, sitting for extended periods of time, walking ramps and climbing stairs and ladders. Occasional overnight travel.

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Hourly and salaried non-exempt employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours.
If hired, employees will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base pay (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
The pay range for this position is expected to be between:
$70,400.00 - $130,600.00
