HEI is a full-service civil engineering, surveying, environmental and technology solutions consulting firm with multiple locations throughout the Midwest.
Job Description
- Assist technical staff with the production of reports, letters, spreadsheets and PowerPoint presentations.
- Assist Project Managers with invoice preparation.
- Assist Office Manager regarding office financial metrics data prep and summary report preparation.
- Innovatively streamline office processes and procedures for improved efficiencies.
- Proactively produce and post location-specific content for SharePoint.
- Utilize Microsoft Suite for internal collaboration.
- Create reports in Unanet to support staff informational needs.
- Facilitate the purchasing of office supplies and safety equipment, etc.
- Assist office manager with building care and act as liaison with building vendors.
- Facilitate office events and local conference planning efforts.
- Foster a culture of respect and promote positive peer relationships.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in a related field and 5+ years experience preferred.
- Advanced skills with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong proofing skills (grammar, punctuation, spelling.)
- Excellent interpersonal skills: ability to listen well and solicit information from technical staff.
- Positive attitude, strong team player, responsible, dedicated, and self-motivated.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with others.
- Must have excellent attention to detail and the ability to prioritize competing projects.
- Ability to kindly and assertively communicate necessary timelines.
- Strong organizational, time management, and resource planning skills.
- Valid Driver’s License and in good standing (local in town travel.)
