Job Details:

Position Summary:
The university’s Ethics and Compliance Office provides a fast-paced, highly visible, risk-focused environment for an individual with solid organizational and communication skills and experience.
As a member of the University’s Ethics and Compliance Office reporting to the Chief Compliance Officer (“CCO”), the Associate Director, University Compliance, serves as the primary administrative and operations lead for the University’s Ethics and Compliance Office managing budget, purchasing, payroll, website, strategic planning, and human resources functions on behalf of the department.
This role also provides substantive support for Youth Protection, helpline and case management, and preparation and execution of materials for the Board of Trustees, coordinating with program leads in those areas. Performs other duties as assigned by the CCO and Executive Director, Ethics and Compliance.
Required Education and Experience:
*Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 10 years of experience working in a complex office environment, including budget management, purchasing/procurement, payroll or HR administration.
*Demonstrated experience with Excel, MS Word, MS Project, and PowerPoint.
*Experience communicating with various levels of management. *Demonstrated experience working with and managing confidential information.
*An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
Preferred Experience:
* Experience supporting a compliance, ethics, audit, or risk function.
*Demonstrated experience working with senior leadership.
*Strong project management skills with proven ability to see projects from start to finish.
*Self-starter capable of developing new processes and procedures.
*Demonstrated understanding of risk assessment and risk management.
*Ability to meet tight deadlines and work under pressure.
*Ability to multi-task multiple, sophisticated projects and teams at one time.
*Familiarity with university purchasing/procurement systems and budget software (Banner).
*Ability to work across multiple sensitive functional areas (e.g., minors, civil rights, whistleblower matters) while maintaining strict confidentiality and appropriate professional boundaries.
*Strong presentation skills.
*Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills along with the ability to effectively interact with a diverse group of individuals.
