Software Engineering Technical Lead

Job Duties: 

• Design and implement security and performance improvements in products.
• Oversee adherence to mandatory software disciplines of audit compliance & mandates.
• Participate in product architecture and design conversations and implement best practices and standards across products.
• Fix complex code defects in legacy products with huge complexity and review code of other members.
• Handle client calls related to issues and escalations regarding software code delivered and drive technical support and maintenance of associated applications to ensure the highest availability.
• Motivate and develop high performing development teams within an agile process environment.
• Review and refine checklists for optimal software code performance.
• Conduct needs analysis and project specifications for all design and development projects.
• Drive planning and execution of defect fix, patch fix, Tier 3 maintenance & software deliveries.
• Consult with product teams on redesign and enhancements required in the application.
• Build relationships with all functional areas and manage stakeholder expectations.
• May telecommute.

Requirements:

• Employer will accept a bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, computer science, or a related field
• 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience in the job offered or a tech lead-related occupation, and developing complex financial applications.
