CDL Class A Truck Driver

Description

POSITION PURPOSE
• To deliver hot parts and other inventory as needed from external warehouse.

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Adherence to safety principles at all times
• Know and follow standard work procedures and safety rules for all tasks assigned
• Deliver parts safely while following all traffic regulations
• Ensure that all parts are delivered to and picked up from the correct destination dock door
• 5S Work Area

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Box Truck operation
• Good communication skills both written and verbal

PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK ENVIRONMENT

• The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, and sit for long periods of time. Bending and/or reaching may be required.
• Personal Protective Equipment must be worn at all times while on Shop Floor to prevent injury to self or others.

Requirements

 REQUIREMENTS

• Must be able to frequently walk around a warehouse floor.
• Must possess a CDL certification/license.
• Must be able to lift 50lbs on a frequent basis.
• Drug Screen and Criminal Background Clearance
