Due to an internal promotion, we have an opening for our North Central Regional Sales Director position.

General Description:

Reporting to the Vice President of Sales, the BeiGene Regional Sales Director will participate in the development of strategic & tactical plans and execute those plans to exceed sales goals. Responsible for the strategy and sales for the region, including hiring, resource planning and allocation, and overall performance management of the sales force. The Regional Sales Director at BeiGene will lead a team of Division Managers.

Qualifications:

  • This position requires a B.A. / B.S. with previous pharmaceutical sales management experience preferred.
  • The ideal candidate should have 12 plus years’ experience in pharmaceutical sales & sales management, with significant Hematology experience and a proven track record of success in a management role.
  • Experience in specialty sales, with an understanding of reimbursement, distribution, and managed care processes as well as previous national/corporate accounts, managed markets, hospital markets, various sites of care, IV medications, injectables, orals and Medicare Part D, etc.
  • Broad cross-functional experience in other commercial roles, such as marketing, sales operations, training, national/corporate accounts, managed markets, hospital markets, etc.
  •  Ability to measure and analyze key performance indicators (ROI and KPIs).
  • Familiarity with CRM software.
  • Must be results oriented with a strategic focus on sales.
  • Ability to actively engage in developing new business.
  • Must demonstrate resilience in the face of challenges.
  • Dedicated to making customer service a priority.
  • Must have a self-starting, self-managing independent work style.
  • Adept in build trusted advisor relationships.

Supervisory Responsibilities:  

  • Recruit and hire Division Sales Managers.
  • Responsible for selecting and leading Division Sales Managers.
  • Leads as a content expert in the Hematology & Oncology marketplace.
  • Develops a culture of continuous learning & development.
  • Supports the Commercial Team with programs that are competency building for the long-term development of our employees.
  • Challenges the status quo with new training platforms that will support the team in the areas of clear communication, advanced analytics and customer service.
  • Develops real authentic relationships, with openness, vulnerability and trust, with your team.

Education Required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree

Preferred:

  • 12+years Hematology & Oncology Experience
  • Master’s in OD, ORGL or MBA

Computer Skills: Highly skilled in Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Other Qualifications: Expertise in conducting Crucial Conversations and providing the division managers with the tools for talking when stakes are high, emotions run strong, and opinions vary.  

Travel: 25%
