POSITION SUMMARY:

Provide the bar area with supplies and provide the bartender with items on request. Assure that guests have a favorable gaming experience. Promote the L.U.C.K.Y culture through actions and positive attitude.

The Role: 

Provide the bar area with supplies and provide the bartender with items on request. Assure that guests have a favorable gaming experience. Promote the L.U.C.K.Y culture through actions and positive attitude.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain a pleasant, friendly, and welcoming attitude toward all external and internal guests at all times
• Stock bar items daily.
• Fill ice bins as needed.
• Perform general bus person duties, to include bussing and cleaning tables
• Assume duties of Bartender, and/or Beverage Server during breaks.
• Replace bottles on bar system; replace juices and beer kegs on line.
• Empty bar garbage and mop bar floors.
• Have complete knowledge of all casino events and promotional activities.
• Keep work area in a clean and orderly manner.
• Ensure the safety and security of team members and guests.
• Comply with all policies and procedures established by Bally’s Kansas City Casino and departmental management.
• Other duties as assigned or any reasonable request from any member of management.

Qualifications:

• Six months experience in the beverage field is preferred.
• Must obtain and maintain Missouri Gaming Commission occupational license, Kansas City, Missouri liquor permit, and TiPS certification.
•  Must be able to work any assigned shift, including late nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime.
• Read, write, and understand simple instructions.
• Communicate appropriately with all departments and fellow team members.
• Appropriately use all bar equipment, electronic cash register, Micros system, and credit card machine.
• Knowledge of C0 gauges.
• Understand and adhere to all Missouri Gaming Commission regulations, sanitation and health department regulations for safe handling of alcohol, and any other federal, state, and/or local regulations.
• Effectively handle situations that may arise due to intoxicated guests.
• Accurately perform all assigned job duties in a high-volume, fast-paced environment under frequent time pressure
