What You’ll Be Doing Every Day:

  • Operate CMM and 3-D Scanner to ensure precision measurement of castings and machined parts
  • Read and interpret blueprints, CAD models, and GD&T symbols to uphold strict quality standards
  • Develop and execute CMM programs for automated inspection processes
  • Conduct first article inspections, in-process checks, and final inspections to guarantee dimensional accuracy
  • Generate and maintain detailed inspection reports, including PPAP documentation
  • Identify and report non-conformances, working closely with engineering and production teams to find solutions
  • Support gauge calibration and Measurement System Analysis (MSA) activities
  • Keep accurate records of measurement data and inspection results
  • Follow safety protocols and company policies

 

What You Bring to the Table:

  • High School Diploma or HSED equivalent
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a foundry, machining, or manufacturing environment
  • Strong understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and CAD models
  • Proficiency in CMM operation and 3-D Scanner usage
  • Problem-solving skills that tackle challenges head-on

 

This position is on-site at our headquarters, located at 838 S. 16th Street in Manitowoc, WI.
