The Opportunity:

That’s why we need you, a systems engineer who knows how to engineer purpose-built systems to meet DoD needs.

As a systems engineer on our team, you will help DoD clients modernize, operate, and maintain a deployable datacenter and other systems that support the DoD. You will work with other like-minded engineers to include Network, Security, Endpoint, and Software engineers to understand the existing architecture and then operate, maintain, and secure the system in support of DoD events at CONUS and OCONUS locations. Furthermore, you will help to modernize the system to meet evolving requirements, incorporate new technologies, and scale it to support other clients. From resolving interoperability issues across platforms, to incorporating and configuring advanced technologies, to ensuring a high-level of availability during events, you will put your software and hardware talents to good use. This is your chance to do the hands-on work required to operate and improve complex and rewarding systems.

As you join our team of problem-solvers helping DoD clients operate and evolve dynamic solutions, you will apply your expertise in server operating systems, server virtualization, centralized endpoint administration, system hardening, system backups, and system-to-system interoperability.

Additionally, you will grow your skills by employing centralized update repositories, employing Microsoft Deployment Toolkit (MDT), enabling secure data-in-transit (DIT) and data-at-rest (DAR) using Commercial Solutions for Classified (CSfC), using server and endpoint public key infrastructure (PKI), maintaining a high system security posture, and developing new skills to meet the needs of the system’s design.

You Have:

• Experience with VMware vSphere v7 or v8, Windows Server 2019 or 2022, Microsoft Windows 10 or 11, and Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) v8.x or v9.x
• Experience setting up and managing virtual infrastructure leveraging VMWare vSphere
• Experience with HPE integrated Lights Out (iLO) or Integrated Dell Remote Access Controller (iDRAC) server management software
• Experience installing and configuring Windows Domain Controllers, and managing windows domains
• Experience with scanning, patching, and hardening servers, including HPE, VMWare, Microsoft, and RHEL components
• Ability to work at client locations regularly
• Ability to travel to CONUS and OCONUS locations to engineer, operate, and maintain physical and virtual servers
• Top Secret clearance
• HS diploma or GED

Nice If You Have:

• Experience with VMware vCenter v7 or v8, VMware vSAN v7 or v8, or Microsoft Hyper-V in Windows 10 or 11
• Experience with Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) or Microsoft Deployment Toolkit (MDT)
• Experience working with commercial vendors to identify, assess, and implement improved and new IT technologies
• Experience with storage solutions, including VEAAM
• Knowledge of PKI implementation, including X.509 Certificates and Certificate Authorities
• Knowledge of CSfC capability packages, including registration and implementation
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
• DoD 8140 Certification, including VMWare Certified Professional or Microsoft Certified Solution Developer Certification

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Top Secret clearance is required.
