Summary of Position:
Springs Rescue Mission considers every position one of ministry and a vital part of our team. The Vocational Training-Client Program Coordinator position provides clear, quality, and up-to-date data on the progress made by vocational training participants. This position is meant to collaborate with vocational trainers, participants, and program grant/funding team members to help tell the story of growth and forward movement of our trainees. This position will track, record and input data reflecting client training hours and classes into funding source data systems. This position will work directly with participants as a complement to the vocational training team and may teach or assist in the teaching of employability classes. The Vocational Training-Client Program Coordinator must work in a way that ensures the protection of personal client information, in accordance with HIPPA, Privacy Act laws, and grants funding requirements while handling any client data.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- · Input participant information into data systems
- · Create participant accounts for new enrollees
- · Meet regularly with participants and make clear and relevant notes in VT case file
- · Track and input training hours into funding data system
- · Regularly update all client files within Mission Tracker and report specific outcome requirements into CBMS and other website portals as required by federal and state grant/program administrators
- · Collaborate with grants tracking and quality team to fulfill audit requirements
- · Regularly write narrative client progress and/or success stories
- · Follow data system requirements and stay up to date on all systems trainings
- · Must obtain and maintain certified in Colorado Benefits Management System (CBMS)
- · Duties and Responsibilities may be added, deleted or changed at any time at the discretion of management, formally or informally, verbally or in writing
- · In this role, you may be required to drive on behalf of Springs Rescue Mission utilizing SRM company vehicle and/or your personal vehicle. In accordance with that, a valid driver’s license, current proof of insurance and/or clean driving record for a minimum of 3 years is required. To ensure the safety of our employees and compliance with state and federal law, SRM utilizes ongoing Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) monitoring where MVR reports may be run randomly to ensure you have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record if utilized as driver.
Requirements
Education/Experience:
- GED/High School Diploma Required; Associates degree preferred
- Data/clerical experience
- 1-2 years Excel experience
- Excellent computer skills
- Valid Colorado Driver’s License

- Demonstrated Skills in conflict resolution, crisis management, critical thinking, knowledge of video Surveillance and fire alarm systems
- Ability to organize, prioritize, self-motivate and deliver results
- Excellent listening skills and able to communicate effectively and to write clearly to be able to complete required paperwork
- Must be able to work effectively with people from diverse cultures with compassion.
- Must be willing to attend all safety/security training provided by SRM
- Ability and willingness to work as a team member and support the mission goals of Springs Rescue Mission
- Must be able to work flexible shifts, weekends, and overtime if necessary
WORKINGCONDITIONS/PHYSICAL FACTORS:
A typical working environment will vary, based on events, and will include occasionally working outdoors, potentially in inclement weather conditions, with some evening and/or weekend work required. Requires some travel, primarily within the state of Colorado.
- Occasionally: must be able to lift up to 75 pounds, bend or stretch, stoop, pass physical security training, jumping.
- Frequently: walking, talking, manual dexterity, kneeling, climb 8 flights of stairs, walking 4 miles per shift.
