Job Summary

Great opportunity for a 3rd-year business student to gain experience in product management! Our strategic business unit for engine hard parts/components (ENG) is seeking an eager and enthusiastic learner who will support Dorman's product team through various business projects that will validate and support Dorman's product initiatives. This role will be 4 days in the office and 1 day virtual, based in Colmar, PA. Internship will begin in late May 2026 and continue for 10-12 weeks. 

Primary Duties

  • Support the Engine SBU team with special projects.  Projects to be identified closer to the start date based on business needs.
  • Identify ROI, Process Improvements, and work cross functionally with Engineering and Supply Chain Teams.
  • Assist product team in understanding competitive market landscape and market trends.
  • Must successfully manage multiple projects simultaneously to transition products from development into production
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Must be detail-oriented, highly organized, resourceful, and work well in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Must be able to develop relationships and initiate, communicate, and take actions to resolve issues both internally and externally.
  • Physical Requirement: Capability to lift 20 pounds.
  • Working Conditions: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to reach, swivel, carry items from one building to another, and speak and actively listen.  Noise level is usually moderate.

Education / Experience

  • Currently enrolled in a college/university and pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Business or related degrees
  • Prefer a 3rd year student
