Summary of the Job:

 

Monday-Friday 3PM - 11PM
The Senior Specialist Security Officer is the first point of contact for all visitors and personnel entering the building. Stationed at the front desk lobby, this role ensures the safety, security, and smooth operation of building access control. The officer actively monitors security systems, responds to incidents or emergencies, and enforces visitor management protocols in a professional and service-oriented manner.

About This Role:

 

• Visitor Management:
  • Greet and check in all visitors, verify identification, issue visitor badges, and ensure compliance with access protocols.
  • Coordinate with tenants and building staff for pre-authorized guest lists and deliveries.
• Access Control & Monitoring:
  • Monitor CCTV cameras, security alarms, and building access software.
  • Identify and respond to unauthorized access attempts or suspicious behavior.
  • Maintain accurate logs of all access and security events.
• Emergency Response:
  • Initial security presence during emergencies (e.g., fire, medical, evacuation) for FNBO Tower lobbies.
  • Assist with executing emergency evacuation and drills.
• Reporting & Documentation:
  • Complete incident reports, daily activity logs, and shift handover notes.
  • Escalate issues as needed to Security Supervisor or the Security Operations Center (SOC).
• Customer Service:
  • Provide directions, answer inquiries, and always maintain a courteous presence.
  • Build rapport with tenants, staff, and regular visitors to foster a safe and welcoming environment.

The Ideal Candidate for This Role:

 

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma
• Strong communication, conflict resolution, and multitasking skills.
• Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in a security, customer service, or front desk role (corporate or building security preferred).

Preferred

• Familiarity with access control systems and CCTV monitoring
• CPR/First Aid Certification

Candidates must possess unrestricted work authorization and not require future sponsorship.

Compensation:

 

Compensation range (base pay): $40,310.00-$64,497.00

This role may have a specific starting pay within this range.

Final compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon work experience, education, and/or skill level.
