Job Description

The Sr. Manager, Energy Specialists role will be a visionary and strategic leader.  This role will be responsible for providing direction, guidance, and support to the team to drive the utilization of disposable products and achieve business objectives. It requires a seasoned professional with strong leadership skills, extensive experience in sales or account management, and a proven track record of driving revenue growth and client satisfaction.  This role combines multiple functional attributes such as sales, marketing, sales training, clinical, product and procedural knowledge, leadership capabilities and strong communication skills.
 

Job Duties

  • Lead and oversee the Energy Specialist Team, providing strategic direction, mentorship, and support to achieve organizational goals.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive strategies to increase the utilization of disposable energy products among existing accounts, focusing on user engagement, revenue growth, and client satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and Directors of Business Development, to align strategies and drive overall business objectives.
  • Analyze market trends, customer insights, and performance metrics to identify opportunities for growth and optimization. Develop actionable plans to capitalize on them.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and industry partners to drive business expansion and enhance brand reputation.
  • Lead the development and implementation of training programs, tools, and resources to empower the team to excel in their roles and deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Drive a culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement within the team, fostering collaboration, accountability, and a customer-centric mindset..
  • Serve as a spokesperson and advocate for the Disposable Utilization Representative Team, internally and externally, promoting the value proposition of our products and services.
  • Work with the Executive Director to build a team and establish a road map to support Strategic and large-scale evaluations strategic and large-scale conversions, installations, various Marketing activities & initiatives, field and formal Training events, and product development activities including animal labs.
  • Manage Energy Specialists daily activities by providing direction with prioritization of duties.
  • Regularly communicate with the AVP/RVP team in order to align priorities of your team members with short-term and long-term organizational goals.
  • Manage a performance review system and individual development plan for all direct reports at a minimum quarterly, and annually.
  • Coach and empower direct report by understanding their career goals and developing short-term and long-term development plan.
  • Perform all Other duties as assigned

Job Qualifications

Required:

  • Minimum of 3 years of healthcare sales, marketing and/or other equivalent clinical experience within a hospital operating room environment 
  • Minimum of 3 years of people leadership or Sales Training leadership with direct responsibility for people development required.
  • Flexibility to travel up to 70% as needed for client meetings, training sessions and industry events.

 

Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Sales Training experience a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze data, draw actionable insights, and develop strategic initiatives to drive business results.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team to achieve goals and exceed expectations.
  • Proven track record of building and maintaining client relationships, driving revenue growth, and delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
  • Proven ability in training and development, with a track record of designing and implementing effective training programs.
