The Opportunity:  

As a senior contracts management professional, you’re eager to support both sides of the acquisition and contracts lifecycle in your clients’ missions. We’re looking for someone like you to be a liaison with the government. Bring your passion to support pre and post-award federal contracts and improve the processes that defend our nation. As a Federal Acquisition Management Professional at Booz Allen, you’ll work with our defense clients in support of the warfighter, aiding in the acquisition of all they need for optimal end strength and ensuring that their mission is our mission. This is an opportunity to make a direct impact on our country’s defense acquisition and contract process.  

On our team, you’ll be instrumental in developing pre-award packages for a client and determining contract structure, as well as managing the post-award contract administration for the program office. You will analyze potential changes in scope, cost, or schedule that may result in contractual impacts, draft contract modifications, advise on emergent contractual issues, and track pending and active contract actions. You’ll work on program and contract documentation and be responsible for the safe storage and handling of sensitive documents. You’ll grow your acquisition expertise regarding all statutory, regulatory, and policy updates impacting each project’s success. You'll be a hands-on acquisition professional able to think strategically but also perform the necessary day-to-day functions and lead the charge in driving actions forward. From working with your team to building and maintaining relationships with external stakeholders to obtaining concurrence, you’ll work to deliver meaningful contracts support to advance technologies for the warfighter.

You Have: 

• 5+ years of experience in DoD contract management or contract administration
• Experience in navigating and using the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations System (DFARS)
• Experience in Research and Development contracts
• Experience with a wide variety of contract types within Fixed Price and Cost Reimbursable
• Ability to independently draft all pre-award documentation for a Request for Proposal package
• Secret clearance
• HS diploma or GED

Nice If You Have: 

• Experience with ACAT Level I and II programs
• Experience with Other Transaction Agreements (OTAs)
• Experience with software development requirements
• Experience as a contracting officer or contract specialist
• Experience with supporting the Navy or NAVSEA Program Office
• Ability to self-start and multi-task in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks with minimal supervision
• Bachelor’s degree
• Certified Federal Contracts Manager (CFCM) Certification

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.
